FIRST EQUATION OF MOTION:

large v=u+at,  Final velocity = initial velocity + acceleration large times time interval,

By definition,  large acceleration=frac{change;in;velocity}{time;taken}=frac{final;velocity-initial;velocity}{time; taken}

      or        large a=frac{v-u}{t}Rightarrow at=v-u

      or        large v=u+at
